I am always trying to think up new appetizer ideas. It seems that whenever I go over to dinner parties, everyone has the most amazing appetizers, and I always seem to be doing the same ones. Deviled eggs and mini hot dogs can only go on for so long! When I saw this video, I knew I was in love. The appetizer recipe uses some of the simplest ingredients. Bacon, Pillsbury biscuits, and cheese. It was so simple, yet I’ve never thought of it!

The recipe is known as cheesy bacon bombs, and they are so delicious. This video provides all of the instruction you need in order to serve these up and your guests will be begging for more.

If you have ever wanted to impress your dinner guests, these are the appetizer you will want to serve. They would also be great at a fraternity party, or anywhere else where Bacon is appreciated.

The ingredients are very easy to get, and super cheap, which is another benefit to following this recipe. All you need is:

– One can of Pillsbury Grands flaky layers biscuits

– An 8 ounce block of mozzarella cheese

– A package of the cut bacon

– Wooden skewers

– Canola or vegetable oil

BBQ brothers explains that you will want to wrap a block of cheese in the raw biscuit and then proceed to wrap pieces of bacon all around it. This is very easy to do, so all you have to do is start by putting up the block of mozzarella cheese into several blocks, and then hiding them in the dough.

Once the cheese is hidden, you can wrap all of the pieces of bacon around each chunk. Do a little bit of tucking, and use the skewers in order to hold everything in place. You will then fry them in 350° oil until all of the sides are golden brown. You then simply place them all on paper towels to drain and let them cool for a few minutes.

You can also get very creative as you duplicate this recipe over and over again. Add jalapenos, use different Jesus, incorporate a few different spices in the dough, and even add raspberry preserves for a sweeter touch.

Some people have even said that baking the dough is just as good as frying, so if you don’t have a fryer, there is no reason why you can’t still have these delicious cheesy bacon bombs. The moment you serve them, everyone is going to go crazy over them.

Watch this how-to video now to learn exactly what to do. Once you have created these wonderful appetizers for yourself, share on Facebook with your friends.
