In this video, a woman named Tina Dorschel was taking a walk through Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, a park in Naples, Florida where she had an encounter that she would never forget for the rest of her life. Taking in the scenery and all the wildlife around including a large variety of birds and even the occasional alligator, she ran into something that she didn’t quite plan on seeing.
Walking on the wooden bridge through the swamp with a camera in her hand, she starts to hear the footsteps of what sounded like someone running towards her. However, when she listened more intently, she realized that a human would definitely not be able to move as fast or have as many feet. Bracing herself for what she would soon encounter, she held on tightly to her camera in anticipation of what was approaching her.
Running towards Tina Dorschel was the most unexpected thing ever. She encountered a cougar running along the bridge towards her. Stepping aside, the cougar runs towards her and thankfully past her. Watching this video would make any person’s heart to skip, so then imagine how Tina must have felt. Her heart must have completely paused for a couple of seconds as she completely freezes watching the jungle cat run past her.
Thankfully, engaged in a situation that could have gone either way, the cougar did not attack her and simply opts to run past her. It is quite hard to imagine how she must have felt at that particular moment. This is a video that would leave you in awe and shock.
The jungle cat simply opts to run past her as she hangs on to the wooden bridge for her dear life. The cougar runs through the bridge at a lightning quick pace whilst growling. Approaching the end of the bridge, the cougar scratches and scrapes at the wood with its sharp claws. Perhaps the cougar was also scared considering the unfamiliar terrain. We aren’t particularly curious about why the cougar doesn’t attack, we are just thankful that it doesn’t.
On on early morning nature walk we saw a gator, a snake, frogs, pretty birds, and had this unexpected encounter. (Warning…curse word at end!)(For licensing or usage, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org)

Some situations occur where you have literally no option but to stop and hope it passes you by. Gladly enough, this just happened to be one of those situations. The cougar in this video poses no harm except to frighten poor Tina Dorschel. Confronted with the same exact situation, it is quite possible that not so many of us would be as calm as she was.
What do you think?
