Shucking Corn Is Normally A Messy Job – Until Now. What An Easy Way To Cook Corn!


Corn is a rich source of carbohydrate which a lot of people find pleasure in eating especially during the summer. The corn meal has got quite some vitamins and minerals. It is also a rich source of antioxidants which are essentially needed by the body for growth and development of cells in the immune system. Cooked corn is seen as a tasty and delicious meal, which lots of people find irresistible. However, its preparation may not be as pleasant as it tastes seeing that the whole process could be full of stress and time consuming. Shucking corn is quiet a strenuous, difficult and an uneasy process especially when you are not good at it, the whole process could cost you time and energy to carry out. In this short video clip, an amazing discovery was made on a convenient and fast way of cooking corn.

Though it may sound difficult to believe that a corn cob can be let out of its husk without having of peel its outer leaves, but this little video presentation has revealed how possible this could be achieved. The super-fast method requires no boiling water, no cooking pot and no wasting time. Without even shucking the corn, it is put into a microwave together with its husk. It remains there for about 4 – 5 minutes before it is then let out and allowed to cool off for a period of 1 – 2 minutes. By the way, the corn is already cooked but it is still in its husk.

The typical way of uncovering a corn cob which involves a forceful grip and tug on the tassel, is not applied during this process. Like never before, the simplest and easiest method was used to let the cob out without experiencing any hassle.
