You start out by cooking 1 ¼ pounds of lean ground beef inside of a 10 inch skillet. You then add in 1/3 cup of sliced olives, and a taco seasoning packet. You then stir in half a cup of water. Stir it all around and let it simmer for five minutes.

Then, this is when things really start to get interesting. In the video, it shows taking out a high pan, though you can also use a cake pan. Place the dough from an 8 ounce can of crescent dinner rolls into the pan and press on the dough until it forms a crust.

After that, take 1 cup of corn chips, break them apart so that they are crumbly, and sprinkle over the bottom of the crust. Then you’ll take the beef mixture and spooning it out of the pan and onto the top of the corn chips.

Take our cream and spread it over top of the beef. This is going to be best done with a spatula. After that, cover it with shredded cheese until you don’t see any sour cream. Then, sprinkle another 1 cup of corn chips on top. These need to be broken apart as well so that it is primarily crumbs.

Placed inside an oven has been preheated 375°, and then set the timer for 25 minutes. Allow it to be for the full 25 minutes or until the crust has reached a nice golden brown. You can then take the taco pie out of the oven, and slice it just like you would a piece of high. Place it onto the plate, serving immediately. You can then add shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes to the taco pie – and if you want to get really creative, and some extra accompaniments, such as sliced jalapenos, guacamole, or fresh salsa.
