Drivers Abandon Their Cars When They Hear THIS. I’ll Never Forget The Reason Why…

At the start of the video, the viewer hears a very loud siren go off and is probably wondering what they have stumbled into. Once the siren is heard, all of the motorists stop their vehicles right where they are and get out of their cars. In Israel, a siren does not typically go off, unless there has been a bombing, so this is unusual to say the least. However, the siren in this video does not signify a current tragedy. Much the opposite. The siren sounds off once a year, as Israel pays homage to those who passed away during the Holocaust tragedies. Six million Jewish citizens were executed during this senseless tragedy and every year, Israel has a Holocaust Remembrance Day.

On this day, the siren goes off and every person stops what they are doing, no matter what it is. Once the siren has been sounded, everyone takes a moment of silence to remember the lives of those who have passed on. This moment of silence lasts 120 seconds and requires motorists to get out of their vehicles and leave them, which leads to frightening imagery for those who don’t know better.

There is nothing that can be done to reverse these tragic events and the Holocaust is one of the darkest moments we have ever experienced as a human race. The clip can be eerie to watch, but once you are aware of the circumstances, it is also incredibly moving. This remembrance is a great way for people to remember those who came before them and recognize how far we’ve come.

In modern society, we have a terrible tendency to complain about things that are not worth complaining about. Watching videos like these helps viewers to see that there is a big, wide world out there, a place where atrocities happen. We cannot keep these awful things from happening or change the past, but we can share clips like these with our friends and family, in order to increase awareness.
